Soulas je veux te donner en tous lieux,
Ne te laissant en tribulation:
La grand douleur qu’as eu devant tes yeux.
M’a fait avoir de toi compassion.
Par la vertu d’amere passion
Qu’a soustenu mon Fils, je te pardonne.
Je suis à toi je m’abandonne:
Oste la peur de ton ame estonnee.
O pauvre serf, ma grace je te donne,
Pour te monstrer mon ire destournee.

Solace shall I give thee in every place,
And leave thee not in tribulation;
The great suffering that thine eyes behold
Makes Me to have on thee compassion.
By the depth of the bitter passion
That My Son underwent, I pardon thee.
I am thine, I give Myself over to thee:
Remove that fear from off thy frighted soul.
O my poor slave, My grace I give to thee,
To show thee that my wrath is turned away.
