C’est toi, Seigneur, qui es juste en tes faits,
Et nous de nostre part malheureux et infets,
Tu nous as justement punis jusques ici.
Mais vueille maintenant exercer ta merci.
Car sites jugemens tu prens à la rigueur,
Nous serons tous confus et tu seras vainqueur.

TRADUCTION :
It is Thou, O Lord who art just in Thy deeds,
And we, for our part, wretched and vile,
Thou hast till now most justly punished us.
But do Thou now display Thy mercy.
For if Thou carriest all Thy judgements out,
We all shall be confounded, and Thou wilt be conqueror.
