Biography

Cathedrale Notre-Dame in Paris, 1550-1559
He served as master of the choirboys (magister symphoniae puerorum) at Notre Dame de Paris from 1550 to 1559, after Nicolas Pagnier and before Gilles Bracquet (Chartier 1897, p. 78).

Cathedrale Notre-Dame in Reims, 1559-1575
He was recruted as master of the choirboys of the cathedral of Reims in 1559, following Philippe Fromentin. He was apparently a native from Reims, and served as master of the choirboys until his death on 26.8.1575, as reported in a brief summary of a "Communication sur l’histoire de la musique à Reims" by Marcel Finot, published in the Travaux de l’Académie nationale de Reims, 154 (1956), p. 94.

One mass and fourteen chansons are ascribed to him in publications printed by Du Chemin and Le Roy et Ballard between 1553 and 1560.
