This Salve regina” modeled upon Orlando di Lasso’s six-voice motet[1] “Memor esto verbi tui,”[2] manifests considerable influence of the model in partes 1, 2, and 5; partes 3 and 4 (C I, C II, A, T I) with full-voice texture, exhibit limited relationships with the model. A dense texture of individual voices prevails; an imitative passage introduces 4.p., mm. 72-6. Final g, b♭ signature.
