[C]-C2; T-C4; Ct-C4. “Regina celi” intonation in C. Notated as black breves and longas, chant (App.3), transposed a fifth higher with inclusion of half of the “portare” double melisma, is delegated to the C. Within a contrapuntal texture two equal lower voices support the C. Triple mensuration prevails for the entire setting. Text underlay of C complements that associated with the chant; text underlay of lower two voices is less defined. Final C.
