Chant (App. 3) significantly influences the antiphon due to frequent text repetitions with accompanying chant that permeates the imitative, contrapuntal texture. To highlight chant, specific quotations are realized in semibreves (e.g., T and B, “ora…Deum,” mm. 42-9). The “alleluia” of 2.p. introduces a motive that is imitated throughtout the transparent fabric (mm. 50-4) and concludes in full-voice texture (mm. 54-8) followed by a varied repetition (mm. 58-62). Declamatory style defines text setting. Final F, b♭ signature.

Unattributed entries RC253-RC260 in LeidGA 1442 are possibly by Johannes Flamingus who is credited with 12 compositions in the manuscript and was also one of the scribes.
