Partitions

[1] Regina caeli

Polyphonic ensemble SSATB

[CI]-G2; [CII]-G2; [A]-C2; [T]-C3; [B]-F3. High clefs. Entire range, G-a’’. Abbreviated chant (App. 3) serves as a cantus firmus (B) in continuous semibreves (black notation). Chant influences imitative entrances in partes 2 and 4. A full voice texture comprised of five independent upper voices that involve a variety of rhythmic gestures contrasts with the rhythm stability of the B. The four brief partes range from 11-16 mm. Each pars concludes with the final syllable of “alleluia” concurrent with the penultimate chord on G (a breve capped by a corona) that proceeds to the final chord on C. Final C.

[2] Quia quem meruisti

[3] Resurrexit

[4] Ora pro nobis
