TRADUCTION :
Ah, what blessings will my poor soul feel
When I shall see the wisest spirits
Sing the praise of God, whom I th’ Eternal call,
And with His praise fill all their books;
With burning zeal for His love alight
I shall exalt the subject of my lines,
And shall seek, taught by His Spirit,
To honour Him with varied songs.
