Las faut il qu’on m’estime
Legere comme vent,
Et qu’on m’impute à crime
Aimer fidellement,
Je n’y voy point d’offence
Quand l’honneur seulement
Y fait sa residence.

Comment est il possible
De se garder d’aymer,
Une grace indicible
Qu’on ne peut estimer,
Mais dire il la faut telle
Et hardiment nommer
Digne d’estre immortelle.
