[Tp I]-C1; Tp II-C1; A-C3; [T]-C4; B-F4. Alternatim setting; verse 6, “Et Jesum…” is divided in two parts, the first, in polyphony and the second, beginning with “nobis…” in chant. Following anticipatory statements at the beginning of each pars, a variant of the Spanish version of Salve regina[1] in breves and semibreves, serves as a cantus firmus in Tp II within an imitative, contrapuntal texture. For pars 1, 2 and 3 the cantus firmus is divided in two segments separated by silence; on the other hand, the plainsong for verses 7 and 8 of pars 4 is presented twice but with intermingling of verses, a practice applied to other voices as well. Declamatory text prevails. Final d (1.p., 2.p., 3.p.); a (4.p.).
