[D]-C1; [A]-C3; [T]-C4; [B]-F4. Except for anticipatory entries (B and A) accompanying “regina celi,” chant (App. 3) is relegated to D in segments (e.g., “quia quem—meruisti—portare”). Aside from the third and fourth “alleluias,” chant exhibits limited influence upon other voices. A second musical borrowing, the tenor of Hayne van Ghizeghem’s Allez regretz[1] disposed in the T, supports the first two textual phrases (“regina…” and “quia…”), followed by a restatement with minor alterations to accompany the last two phrases (“resurrexit…” and “ora…”). Final F, b♭ signature.
