[1] Regina celi

Polyphonic ensemble STX

[C]-C1; Ct-C3; T-C3. Entire range, f-d’’. “Regina celi” chant intonation. Ornamented chant (App. 3), transposed a whole step higher, is relegated to C within a contrapuntal texture. The four textual phrases are presented by C and Ct whereas the “alleluia” sections are for three voices. A rising sequential pattern (mm. 70-74 and 94-97) prepares cadences that normally comprise under-third melodic or double-leading tone cadences. Final G.

[2] Quia quem meruisti

[3] Resurrexit

[4] Ora pro nobis
