[C]-G2; Ct-C4; T-C4. “Regina” intonation; chant (App. 3) introduces textual phrases (“letare,” “quia quem, “resurrexit,” and the final “alleluia”) in C, the only texted voice. A textual incipit (“ora”) identifies Ct and T. Textual phrases are clearly defined by cadential points. C, primarily in stepwise motion, and T comprise the axis voices within a polyphonic texture; a more disjunct Ct enriches the contrapuntal fabic. Triple mensuration defines the antiphon. Final C.
