[D]-G2; [T]-C3; [B]-F4. Chant (App. 3), relegated to D primarily in longae and semibreves, functions as a cantus firmus (with abbreviated melismas associated with “letare” and “portare”) for “regina celi.” Initial pitches of chant permeate imitative texture of “resurrexit” but chant is treatly freely as lines continue. Limited evidence of chant within homorhythmic texture of “ora…nobis.” Initial pitches of melody connected with trope permeate imitative texture but treated freely thereafter; text reads “morte surrexisti rex pie” instead of “morte surgebas rex pie.”[1] Triple mensuration defines the brief segment associated with “pro nobis Deum.” Text setting combines syllabic and melismatic styles except for trope in syllabic style. Final F, b♭ signature (D and T); e♭ (B).

1. Alle Domine nate matris Deus alme nobis confer praestaque vivere:
O Lord, born of a kindly mother, grant and give us life.

Quam [quoniam] te decet laus honor O Domine qui de morte surgebas rex pie:
Since praise and honor become you, O blessed Lord, who rose a king from the dead:

Fac nos tecum surgere, alleluia.
Let us rise with you, alleluia.
