S-C1; A-C3; T-C4; Q-C4; B-F4. Chant, set apart as semibreves, to introduce textual phrases (e.g., “regina celi,” “quia quem,” “resurrexit sicut dixit,” “ora pro nobis,” and “alleluia”), and paraphrased chant permeate the imitative, polyphonic texture with overlapping phrases in each pars. Prominent quotation of initial pitches associated with first three “alleluia” sections (mm. 21-28, 63-9, and 102-7) provides unity to this lengthy antiphon (155 mm.). Structural design suggests that almost half of the antiphon consists of “alleluia” sections:

Regina celi letare 1-20
Alleluia 20-31
Quia quem meruisti portare 31-62
Alleluia 60-84
Resurrexi sicut dixit 85-98
Alleluia 98-110
Ora pro nobis deum 110-134
Alleluia 132-155

Except for melismatic style of “alleluia” segments and for specific words “letare” and “portare,” the remainder of the motet reflects syllabic style with considerable text repetition. Final F; b♭ signature.
