[C]-C1; T-C5; Ct-F4. Chant (App. 3) serves as a migrating cantus firmus primarily presented in breves and semibreves; anticipation of the cantus firmus occurs with “regina” and the initial phrase of the textual trope where the chant is placed in the Ct for verse1 and T (mm. 130-142) and C (mm. 142-145) for verse 2. The “alleluia” sections primarily consist of new material except for the final “alleluia” that carries the trope Alle Domine nate matris[1] of which the two verses parallel the double melisma in a migrating cantus firmus (Ct, mm. 105-126; T, mm. 130-142; C, 142-145). Text setting favors melismatic style except for the cantus firmus of the trope in syllabic style. Final F, b♭ signature.

1. Alle Domine nate matris Deus alme nobis confer praestaque vivere:
O Lord, born of a kindly mother, grant and give us life.

Quam [quoniam] te decet laus honor O Domine qui de morte surgebas rex pie:
Since praise and honor become you, O blessed Lord, who rose a king from the dead:

Fac nos tecum surgere, alleluia.
Let us rise with you, alleluia.
