[A]-C3; [B]-C5. Two notated voices with double canon at the upper fourth at the distance of one breve. Chant (App. 3), transposed a fourth lower, is relegated to the lower voice in breves and semibreves; the second and fourth “alleluia” sections primarily consist of new material. Chant for “quia quem meruisti portare” is structured in four segments, one for each word. The final “alleluia” in contrasting triple mensuration repeats the opening portion (mm. 100-107 restate mm. 84-91). Melismatic style defines the text setting in the upper voice as well as the “alleluia” sections. Final F, b♭ signature.

Description

In Les musiciens de la cour de Bourgogne au xve siecle (1420-1467), pp. 237-9, the editor confused the signum congruentiae with a corona and therefore placed a hold above the respective pitches rather than the point for the entries of the following voices (comes).
