[C]-C1; [A]-C3; [T I]-C4; [T II]-C4; [B]-F4. Primary range of 4 lower voices, F-f’. Chant (App. 3), intact for initial pitches of textual phrases, treated with freedom as voices unfold. Chant and new material permeate the imitative, contrapuntal fabric. Text setting exhibits combination of syllabic and melismatic styles; the final “alleluia” with lengthy melismas constitutes half of the 2.p. Final F, b♭ signature.
