Description

CambriU Nn.6.46 “has all the appearance of a presentation copy of a work designed for the appreciation of the cognoscenti as well as for the service of a ritual purpose, and there is nothing to equal its degree of artifice among the surviving English choral music of the period.” (Harrison, 1980, p. 268).
