[C]-C1; A-C4; T-C4; B-F4. Chant, though it differs at some points with App. 1, permeates the imitative, contrapuntal texture. The text is missing from the A and B of the first section, B of the middle section and from all voices in the third section “prius ac posterius.” Except for the conclusion of the first section in duple mensuration, the first and third sections are in triple mensuration; the middle section in duple mensuration. The setting opens with chant statements on f and c; thereafter all chant references are on c and g. Final C, b♭ signature for A and T in first section and B in second section; no b♭ in signature for third section.
