A slightly paraphrased chant (App. 1) is presented in the upper voice with brief imitative passages in lower voices (usually the T) for initial pitches of phrases. Cadences occur at the conclusion of each textual/musical phrase within a primarily melismatic text setting. Final F, b-flat signature for 2 lower voices; b♭ provided where appropriate in upper voice.
