S-G2; A-C2; T-C3; B-C4. High clefs. Entire range, B♭-f’’. No evidence of chant. Four sections of the antiphon are clearly defined by full cadences; additionally, section III exhibits paired imitation whereas section IV is in compound duple mensuration. The setting combines syllabic and melismatic styles. Final F, b♭ signature.

Description

The antiphon is part of the motet cycle Quam pulchra es wherein the motet replaces the Gloria of the Mass.
