Copied by one main scribe and two additional scribes; lute intabulations are later additions by two different scribes, one of whom also wrote tablature portions of UppsU 76b (Thomas G. MacCracken). Copied in France (BernNO). Many pieces have text incipits only.
Later additions in lute tablature on ff. 10', 36', 58'-60, 100'-113, 114'-115, 129'-132', 135-136, 139'-142', 144, 148'-149', 150'-151, and 152'-157'.

New pencil foliation, 1-157, on lower right rectos ("58" applied to two consecutive folios; four original folios now missing between new ff. 104/105, three between 107/108, two each between 103/104, 109/110, 111/112, 112/113, one between 148/149). Original covers of brown leather blind tooled with ornamental designs; remnants of four ties. No index. Copied by one main scribe and two additional scribes; lute intabulations are later additions by two different scribes, one of whom also wrote tablature portions of UppsU 76b (Thomas G. MacCracken). Staff height 12. No initials or decoration. Watermark: pot with three-petalled flower (not in Briquet). Many pieces have text incipits only.
Ca. 1530? (BernNO), with lute tablature additions in second half of 16th century. Copied in France (BernNO).
