C-C2. T-C4; Ct-C4. Entire range, d-a’. No evidence of chant. Four independent sections complement the four textual lines. In this brief setting each of the first two lines(“regina…alleluia” and “quia…alleluia:) consists of ten measures; sections 3 and 4, (“resurrexit…alleluia” and “ora…alleluia”)respectively, include 7 and 6 measures. All voices of this treble-dominated antiphon with two supporting voices are texted for the first phrase (“regina…alleluia”); text underlay in C and T defines the remainder of the antiphon. Triple mensuration. Final d.
