C-C1; A-C3; T-C4; Q-C3; B-F4. Chant (App. 3) appears intact for the initial textual phrase of both pars. Only the initial pitches of the second and fourth textual/musical phrases (“quia…portare” and “ora…Deum”) are included; “alleluia” segments introduce new material. All chant material permeates voices through imitation except the T that carries an ostinato cantus firmus consisting of the initial 6 pitches of chant for respective texts “regina celi” of the 1.p. and “resurrexit” for 2.p. Arranged in a symmetrical pattern in each pars, the textual/chant phrases are stated in breves and semibreves at pitch as well as transpositions at specific intervals as follows (numerals equal number of breves and letters indicate beginning pitch of ostinato):

1.p.:restfrestc’restfrestc’restf
10424342436
2.p.:restb♭restfrestb♭restfrestb♭
12535253529

Declamatory text setting employed with lengthy melismas for “celi,” “letare,” “sicut” and “dixit”; with but few exceptions, “alleluia” sections are in syllabic style. 1.p. concludes on A final, 2.p., Final F, both pars include b♭ signature.
