The RicercarLab of the Centre d'études supérieures de la Renaissance (Tours) and the Ente Olivieri of Pesaro (Italy) have created a partnership with the aim of promoting the digitization of an exceptional collection of several hundred 16th and 17th century lute works, gathered in twenty-six manuscripts rediscovered in 2018. These tablatures constitute a fundamental contribution to our knowledge of Italian instrumental music of the late Renaissance.

Musicologists interested in contributing are invited to contact the responsible of the project, Philippe Canguilhem.
